Why Borges | Borges Center

The Borges Center is the most important center in the world for research on the works of Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986). It is located at the University of Pittsburgh, publishes the journal Variaciones Borges, and hosts the website http://www.borges.pitt.edu. Its director is Daniel Balderston, Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Modern Languages at the University of Pittsburgh.
